Ready for accountingMappings and requirements below

Move from a processed invoice to a bill in DishBooks without typing it twice. Opsi sends the accounting details and uploads the source PDF when available.

Why operators turn this on

Your bookkeeping team gets the context behind each purchase: the vendor, invoice and due dates, location, and expense breakdown. Credits and paid purchases follow their own accounting paths.

Bills ready for bookkeeping

Export invoice numbers, dates, vendors, and locations directly into DishBooks.

Documents alongside the details

Available source PDFs are uploaded to the exported bill, credit memo, or journal entry.

Consistent expense coding

Use your mapped GL accounts, with configurable categories for tax, shipping, and other charges.

Paid purchases accounted for

A mapped funding source turns a paid purchase into a journal entry against the payment account.

Questions we get

How does the DishBooks connection work?

Authorize the connection through DishBooks, select your location, and map vendors and GL accounts. You can then export prepared invoices from opsi on demand.

Are invoice PDFs included?

Yes. When a source invoice document is available, opsi uploads it to the exported bill, credit memo, or journal entry in DishBooks.

How are credits and paid purchases handled?

Vendor credits export as credit memos. Purchases assigned to a mapped funding source export as journal entries, recording the expenses against the payment account.

Can we choose accounts for tax and shipping?

Yes. The connection supports separate mapped accounts for tax, shipping, shipping tax, and other charges, alongside your invoice expense categories.
